New - Alberta Dam and Canal Safety Directive and Regulation Amendments

Alberta Environment and Parks (AEP) is pleased to announce that the amendments to the Water (Ministerial) Regulation and Water (Offences and Penalties) Regulation were approved, including the development of the new Alberta Dam and Canal Safety Directive.
The recent regulatory amendments focused on updating dam and canal safety (Part 6) and water wells (Part 7). Less substantive amendments to some remaining parts of the regulation were also made.
