Tailings Dam Breach Analyses Technical Bulletin – Still a Draft

The Tailings Dam Breach Working Group, under the mandate of CDA Mining Dam Committee (MDC), has prepared a draft Technical Bulletin to address several unique aspects of Tailings Dam Breach Analyses. The draft document is currently under review and will be published after CDA’s internal and external review processes are complete and approval from the CDA Board is granted.
As part of the planned review process, the MDC has forwarded the draft document to several individuals to seek comments, suggestions and feedback. CDA would like to remind all individuals who have access to draft versions, that this document will undergo further revisions before final approval by the CDA Board for publication. As such, any drafts should not be referenced or relied upon, as CDA-approved documents.
When this document is finalized and CDA-approved, members will be notified.
