The CDA membership year is July 1 to June 30, so make sure you’ve renewed your membership to ensure there is no interruption in benefits and services. Membership in CDA is available to both individuals and organizations.
Membership in the Canadian Dam Association provides many unique benefits, including:
- direct access to shared information from international experts and vendors critical to the safe and effective operation of dams;
- the opportunity to collaborate through annual conferences and local presentations and contribute to important issues including dam safety and public safety around dams;
- enhanced professional development for experienced and young professionals alike in fields such as hydroelectric power, irrigation, flood control and recreation, and mining and oil sands development;
- advanced knowledge and practice related to dams including emerging concerns such as climate change and the environment; and
- reduced conference rates.
For vendors and suppliers of products and services to the dam industry, including specialized equipment, and consulting, membership is essential. Being a corporate sponsor is especially valuable to your business or organization and provides an avenue to implement leading edge technologies and innovative ideas. The discounts provided to corporate members and corporate partners may be enough to pay for your membership!
