CDA 2020 Call for Posters – Deadline January 31

The dam community in Winnipeg looks forward to welcoming the Canadian dam industry to our city from Oct. 24 to 29. The theme for 2020 is Balancing Past Performance with Future Expectations. Technical sessions will consider past performance and historical design criteria of aging infrastructure while focusing on environmental, social, economic and technological changes as well as evolving expectations of regulatory regimes related to the construction and operation of dams.
Abstracts for poster submissions at CDA 2020 will be accepted until Friday, Jan. 31. Individuals are encouraged to submit an abstract of 300 to 500 words in either English or French to 2020technical@cda.ca.
Posters will be accepted on a wide variety of dam safety and dam engineering related topics. Students, EIT/GITs, and young professionals are especially encouraged to consider submitting an abstract and poster. Prizes will be awarded.

March 16 – Poster acceptance notification
August 31 – Deadline for confirming that poster will be presented
