CDA 2020 Call for Abstracts for Posters – Deadline February 14

The dam community in Winnipeg looks forward to welcoming the Canadian dam industry to our city from Oct. 24 to 29. The theme for 2020 is Balancing Past Performance with Future Expectations. Technical sessions will consider past performance and historical design criteria of aging infrastructure while focusing on environmental, social, economic and technological changes as well as evolving expectations of regulatory regimes related to the construction and operation of dams. 

Posters will be accepted on a wide variety of dam safety and dam engineering related topics. Students, EIT/GITs, and young professionals are especially encouraged to consider submitting an abstract and poster. Prizes will be awarded.

Details surrounding a poster competition will be announced on the conference home page in the coming weeks. 

Important Dates
January 31 – Abstracts due for posters
March 16 – Poster acceptance notification
August 31 – Deadline for confirming that poster will be presented
CDA 2020 – October 24 to 29 (Winnipeg, MB)

Authors are invited to submit abstracts of 300 to 500 words in either English or French by February 14, 2020. Abstracts can be submitted online at https://www.conference-service.com/CDA2020/welcome.html
