CDA AGM goes virtual; set for October 6

Due to meeting and travel restrictions because of COVID-19, CDA’s 2020 Annual General Meeting will be held using a virtual meeting platform. The meeting has been set for October 6 at 13h00 Eastern Time.

NEW: the CDA awards will be presented as part of the AGM

Over the next few weeks, members will receive detailed information on the AGM. A special AGM webpage has been created as a reference point.

While work is still underway on the details, here is the general plan:

• The agenda and other documents will be posted on the AGM webpage as they become available.
• An online meeting platform will allow all participants to view the agenda and presentations, and listen to the presenters.
• Members will be required to register in advance to participate in any voting.
• Non-members will be allowed to participate in the meeting but not vote.
• Plans are being made to provide simultaneous interpretation.
