It’s not too late to submit an abstract to participate in the 26th ICOLD Congress, being held July 1-7, 2018 in Vienna. Due to a revised schedule from Congress organizers, the Canadian Dam Association has been able to extend the deadline for abstracts to July 7.
The process for presenting at an ICOLD Congress is different from usual conferences. Abstracts are submitted to CDA – the Canadian national committee to ICOLD – where a team will choose which abstracts will be put forward to the Congress organizers for selection in the program.
Selected papers will be published in Transactions of the Congress, along with a General Report summarizing the state of practice. This publication becomes the leading international reference on the topic. Invited authors will make presentations at the Congress.
At an ICOLD Congress, papers must address the Congress questions. The questions for the 2018 Congress are listed on the CDA website.
