A CDA working group on “Design and Construction of Dams”, established under the Dam Safety Committee has been working on three documents related to this subject. The working group is seeking feedback on these documents by September 20.
The first is available on the CDA website, section Dams in Canada and is entitled “What Dam Owners need to Know”.
The second, is available to members of CDA and is found on the “Technical/Technical Committees/Dam Safety Committee/Design and Construction" webpage and is entitled “A Primer on Dams”. This document was posted at the time of the CDA Conference in Québec City, 2018.
Note: If you are not able to access this document, it means your membership has lapsed. Please contact the CDA office at management@cda.ca with any questions related to your membership status.
The working group needs feedback on the documents to ensure their value for the CDA members.
