CDA Welcomes Quality Manager

Clare Raska, P.Eng. (Retired), is taking a part-time role as CDA's Quality Manager, to provide advice and support to CDA committees, particularly for developing technical guidance products and finalizing them for publication. She will work closely with the working group Leads and committee Chairs to bring efficiency and consistent quality to the processes and products.

Clare is retired from BC Hydro, where she worked in development of management systems for quality assurance and the dam safety program. She is well known in CDA circles, having worn many hats over the years, including President of the association, editing every version of the Dam Safety Guidelines and many of the Bulletins, and developing workshops related to CDA guidance.

"I am looking forward to this role. As CDA is producing more documents that are widely used by the dam community, the CDA working groups need support to finalize their products and ensure that there is a consistent quality that our members can rely on," she said.
