Call for Abstracts for ICOLD 2025

ICOLD has issued its call for papers for the 2025 Congress in Chengdu, China. CDA members are invited to submit abstracts of papers that address the ICOLD Congress Questions. CDA’s International Committee will select the Canadian abstracts. Authors of selected abstracts will prepare a draft paper for review by the Committee, followed by preparation of a final paper that CDA will submit to ICOLD. ICOLD will not accept any submissions directly from authors. The 28^th ICOLD Congress papers are to address these four questions:

• Question 108 - Dams and Reservoirs for Climate Change Adaptation
• Question 109 - Dams and Levees fit for the Future
• Question 110 - Safety of Dams and Levees Facing Extreme Hydrological Events
• Question 111 - Earthquake Performance and Safety of Dams

Canada is limited to a total of 22 papers for the Congress, with a maximum of eight papers per question.

The abstract submission deadline is April 5, 2024.

All submissions should be emailed to director-at-large.icold@cda.ca.

Final papers will be submitted by CDA to ICOLD in August 2024.
