Dams and Public Safety Workshop – OWA/CDA

This one-day workshop on Dams and Public Safety has been developed to provide training on public safety risk assessment based on the methodologies presented in CDA’s 2011 Guidelines for Public Safety Around Dams.

The workshop will benefit managers and operators of dam facilities involved in risk management assessments or decisions related to public safety.

This practical workshop, delivered by experienced practitioners, provides case studies and tools suitable for assessing and reducing, public safety risks that can arise at dams and hydropower facilities. Class sizes are limited to maximize participation, and collaboration during the breakout sessions.
