ICOLD issues a final report of the Independent Expert Panel on the failure of Saddle Dam D of the Xe-Pian Xe-Namnoy Project in Laos.

Transport Canada has a proposal to add 25 Heritage and longest wild and free flowing rivers to the Schedule of the Canadian Navigable Waters Act.  Comments are due by July 19.

Transport Canada has published a Minor Works Order discussion paper in the event the proposed Canadian Navigable Waters Act becomes law. The deadline for providing input is July 30.

The deadline for abstract submission is July 8.
