Classroom Courses:
2010-2011

ETA Course October: There were 79 students registered with a class average of 81%, 5 failed, and 1 incomplete.

Sigma Course November: There are 60 students registered. Diane King is currently being trained as a course coordinator by Bill McInerney.

Gamma course February: There are 78 students registered and Colleen Landers and Jean Richmond will be coordinating the course. Helen Woods has stepped down, due to work commitments. Lori McGuire will apply for the Gamma coordinator position. This was approved by the Gamma Chapter executive at their November meeting.

Other courses: Registration is ongoing and will be reported in the next newsletter.
2011-2012

An email was sent to present coordinators and Chapter Presidents requesting dates and locations for 2011-2012 courses. The coordinators were also asked to state their intentions and discuss coordinator positions at their November Chapter meetings, and forward all information to the CSAO office, Nancy, and I by December 2010.

Gamma Chapter dates and location confirmed for February 1, 2, 3, and 4, 2012. Location will be Ottawa General. A schedule was sent and the coordinators will be Jean Richmond and Lori McGuire.

Theta/Lambda Chapter: Dates were sent as May 9, 10, 11, and 12, 2012 and the host location is Timmins with ON sites in Thunder Bay, Sault Ste Marie, Sudbury, North Bay and Orillia. All sites are confirmed and booked and a schedule was sent. Coordinators confirmed at a chapter meeting as Nancy Aelick and Colleen Landers.

The Delta Chapter is requesting that another course be added for the Hamilton area.

Company speakers and contract: In January letters will need to be sent to all companies asking for the renewal of their contracts for 2011-2013, and other commitments to the CSAO course.

Six students are registered from BC, Alberta, Manitoba and New Brunswick.

Alberta has chosen to use our CSAO course for their rural sites and follow the format required and will use the Alberta Calgary course for Calgary.
Textbook and workbook:
All 1st Edition used.

New Edition of 1000 started with Sigma course and sent to all Distant Students and Recertification Session 2.
