Vice President Report

I had the great opportunity to attend the National Operating Room Nurses Association of Canada bi-annual conference this spring in Regina, Sk representing CSAO. One of the sessions was titled:                Sterilization & Infection Control:  A System’s Approach presented by Chuck Hughes.  This session was very well attended and created good discussion amongst the delegates. It was great to see the strong interest that our colleagues in the Operating Room have for the work we do and the importance of it in patient outcomes.

Our Annual Conference planned for September 12 & 13 this year has a great line up of speakers and many interesting changes are planned that will make it a little different compared to years in the past. We hope that all those who attend will also find the changes to be positive and we look forward to the evaluations. The exhibit room is filling up quickly with our many industry partners who have always supported our conference. We also have many new exhibitors who are interested in attending this year. Plan to spend time in the exhibit room to meet the Sales Representatives and use their expertise to answer your questions and see the many products that can enhance your daily work.
