Central Service Association of Nova Scotia (CSANS)
Bi-Annual Conference, September 23 & 24, 2011
As Education Director, I attended the CSANS Conference, in beautiful Baddeck Nova Scotia, on Cape Breton Island.
The people were as warm and friendly as the island itself. Friday evening, I was able meet with the Nova Scotia executive. Saturday, the conference was attended by just over 150 delegates. There were some very interesting speakers and topics, including:
-
The Cape Breton Experience, (C-Diff) With Patsy Rawding
-
How’s and Why’s of Manufacturing, Testing, Using Surgical Instruments and The Surgical Instrument Repair Process with Matt Rudolf
-
The Changing Role of People and Technology in Medical Device Reprocessing, with Abdool Karim
-
The Occurrence of Wet Packs in Sterile Processing, with Ian Pequegnat
The conference was also well-attended and supported by the vendors with 13 companies in attendance.
Nancy Aelick,
Education Director, CSAO
