The C.S.A.O. is currently looking for a course co-ordinator for the Medical Device Reprocessing Techniques Course within the Sigma Chapter. (Sigma Chapter towns/locations can be found on the website at http://www.csao.net/.)
The C.S.A.O. Medical Device Reprocessing Techniques Course provides information to support reprocessing department staff members in their work in the field of reprocessing medical devices.
The Coordinator of the C.S.A.O. Medical Device Reprocessing Techniques Course is responsible for the overall presentation of the course and up to date on issues and practices identified in the reprocessing environment.
Requirements
- Must be an active C.S.A.O. members in good standing, a copy of certification must be provided with application. Your certificate must be current and dated no more than five years previous to the application date.
- Fluent in the English language and have experience in education.
- Have the ability to present power point presentations to a group of 80 students or more.
Course Coordinators must approach their chapter to be approved as the chapter coordinators. New course coordinators must volunteer for one year before being approved as coordinators. An experienced Course Coordinator will mentor you through the first course.
