CSAO DIRECTOR of COMMUNICATION ANNUAL REPORT

2010-2012

Hello CSAO members, as a member of the CSAO Executive (Gamma Chapter Rep) for the past two years it has been a great experience which has given me a better understanding of the work each executive member puts in to make sure the organization stays current with education, conferences, updating of website to make information more accessible to members. Executive put in a good deal of their time to liaison with various organizations; OHA, AAMI, AORN, and HISSMM just to name a few, in hopes to achieve some of our common goals.

I had the opportunity to attend the AORN this year which was held in New Orleans. The conference was well attended, the experience was unforgettable, to actually visit the vendor booths of so many International Companies and to actually view the equipment first hand was amazing.

This year being the end of my term I would like to thank the CSAO Executive for the opportunity to see first hand the work involved that keeps everyone striving for us the members to have the best and the importance of getting involved to ensure our profession is recognized not only provincially but Internationally. Exciting times are coming!
