ETA Chapter Report

The ETA Chapter was once again able to send many of its members to this year's annual conference. The conference was one of the best in recent memory with many great speakers, deserving award winners, a new and funny MC and a great sounding band for the dinner. Attendance was a bit higher from last year and that is encouraging as we are hoping to get even more members join our Chapter and Provincial group.

We have a new Chapter executive for the next two years:

President: Louis Konstant, The Hospital for Sick Children 

Treasurer: Pablo Ramiro, The Hospital for Sick Children

Secretary: Kevin Wan, The Hospital for Sick Children

Past President: Michael Lacatus, Mount Sinai Hospital

We will focus on having 3-4 chapter meetings each year to allow members to network, gain educational information from within our field and the ability to connect with vendors who support our profession.

We are looking forward to meeting you at our first ETA chapter meeting this membership year on October 23, 2012. Our annual Christmas networking dinner will take place on Tuesday, December 4, 2012, at the Mandarin Restaurant. More details will be circulated via email to chapter members. Please let me know if you have any ideas related to topics and venues for our upcoming meetings.
