ETA Chapter Updates
The ETA Chapter has met twice since the conference in September. On October 22, the Chapter met at St. Michael's Hospital in downtown Toronto, sponsored by 3M, where aside from chapter and provincial updates, the new Super Rapid Readout BI test was introduced. The Chapter also held its annual Christmas Dinner on Tuesday, December 10, at the Mandarin. This was as always a great networking opportunity and time to enjoy some holiday cheer with our CSAO group.

The group also discussed challenges we face when testing and releasing reprocessed medical devices.
3.0 ETA Chapter and Annual Conference Update
This was the first meeting for the ETA Chapter this membership year and after the conference.
Next meeting will be held on Tuesday, December 10, 2013, at 5:30 and will be our annual Christmas networking dinner at the Mandarin restaurant. We are looking to hold an early year ETA Chapter meeting in 2014 at UHN to be sponsored by SciCan. More details to follow soon.
The group was reminded that this will be an election year both at the provincial and chapter levels, and anyone interested in running for positions and/or who had any questions were encouraged to talk to current executive members. Roles and responsibilities of these executive positions could be found on the CSAO website under the constitution section. More details will be shared shortly outlining deadlines and distributing of nomination forms.
Louis talked about the Provincial group meeting later that week. They would continue with the Strategic Planning consulting (Riverhorse Consulting) that was started earlier in the year. As well, conference planning for next year will be underway.
