Sigma Chapter Report

Sigma chapter has survived another year. We still see good membership numbers and our education course was a great success again this year. The executive of Sigma chapter would like to thank Shelley at the provincial office for all her help and guidance this past year.

One problem Sigma still encounters is involvement from the membership. Our annual meeting was not well attended. At this meeting we discussed ways to get the message out, to fire up our membership. We have offered OTN as part of our program, thanks Dianne for your help in arranging this so we hope next year this will be received well by the membership.

We also are working on an information flyer that will be sent to managers of our hospitals covered by Sigma chapters in hope to get their support passing the information to their employees. Sigma chapter has partnered with the London chapter of the CSGNA and are working on an education day to be held in London in June. We will keep everyone posted.

As a new year approaches, change always happens. Sigma chapter will see a new leadership group take over for the next two years. We wish the new leadership all the success in the future.
