Cindy Cole - Past President

As we begin a new year for CSAO, we have been faced with some challenges. Nancy Aelick and Luanne Sutherland have recently resigned from the CSAO Board of Directors. I’d like to thank Nancy and Luanne for their time and commitment to CSAO over the last several years. They have both been very valuable members of our team and will be greatly missed!

At the June Board of Directors meeting, we also said goodbye to Jeff Phelps, Alan Scott, Louis Konstant and Lorna Coutoulas. Everyone on this team did incredible work for the CSAO dedicating a great deal of personal volunteer time to advancing our Association over the next three years as we developed our Strategic Plan. I wish everyone the very best and value the time we have worked together. I’d like to extend my personal thanks and gratitude to Lorna Coutoulas. Lorna has served on the CSAO Board of Directors for 14 years! This is an incredible amount of volunteer time to dedicate, all while working full time and raising a young family. Lorna has been a wonderful support and mentor to me as well as all the new Board members as we started in our new roles. Lorna has a great passion for MDR and the work we all do. Lorna continues as an Education Coordinator in the ETA Chapter. I know Lorna will be very successful in all she does in the future and will always support and advocate for CSAO.

As we move forward, we are excited to welcome our new Board Members Anne Kustra, Rohan Jagasar, Tammy Bennardo, Dianne King and Chris Sherlock. The focus over the next year will remain on advancing the Strategic Plan. There will be a transition period as everyone becomes accustomed to their new Director roles. I also wish Denise Bosnjak the very best as she transitions into the role of President.
