President’s Report

I would like to take this opportunity to welcome our new executive members to the Board of Directors, and all of our Chapters throughout the province. In light of the recent events, and also being an election year, there have been significant changes to our teams that I believe will lead to new ideas and opportunities that will move us closer to achieving our goals. I would also like to express my sincere gratitude for those who have worked hard over the past years serving terms that have made a difference allowing us to continue to move forward. Your commitment, and contributions to the CSAO are what shapes this organization and it’s longevity. This year we are celebrating our 45th Conference, and 51 years in the business of Medical Device Reprocessing sharing information and education.

As we begin a new year, we are committed to remain on track with respect to our strategic plan. An editor has been hired to update and redesign the CSAO text book and work books. We are hoping that this work will be completed to allow us to promote them at the CAMDR Conference this fall. Communication is a priority and key to our success. A survey is scheduled to be sent out next week to all members with respect to our Mission, Vision and Values moving forward. Your input is greatly appreciated, and will be presented at the Annual Membership Meeting at the CSAO Conference this fall. I would also like to congratulate all of the winners of the Chapter Development Campaign, and thank them for their on going support in regard to the growth and development of the CSAO.
