During the summer months, there has not been much activity among most of the Chapters.

New membership forms were posted online at the end of May, and we encourage all to apply as early as possible. For those who have applied, a "new" package has been put together and mailed out to all current members. It includes a CSAO two-sided portfolio with a welcome letter from the President, a location form with all the Chapters and Hospitals within each and a CSAO pin.

I have recently completed a Membership and Chapter Development PowerPoint that can be used at all levels to promote the organization. This is a more modern avenue of presenting ourselves to current and prospective members who wish to be part of this great society. This is not just limited to membership development, but includes much on education. Although this not part of my portfolio, I've included this as it is one of our main focuses as an organization, and it is a responsibility of all executive members.

In past year I have had the opportunity to attend the IPAC and MDRANS conferences where we made immense progress in promoting the CSAO membership, education and our newly revised textbook.

Our goal for 2015/2016 is to have 1000 members in our organization and a minimum of 500 of which is MDRD employed. As we move forward we will continue to encourage all current members to attract new members.
