Happy New Year to all CSAO members and their families! Wishing everyone a prosperous year ahead at work and at home.

As CSAO will not have an annual conference in 2016, our group must plan to exhibit at key meetings in order to promote the CSAO textbook and our association membership. The new textbook will continue to be promoted across the country for educational programs related to MDR. We also take this time to thank all the Vendors who continue to support the CSAO.

There has been early feedback related to the new textbook and course tests to-date this membership year. The association is planning to hire a part-time Educational Administrator to continue working on the textbook and tests in order to improve quality of the courses offered, and this important work must be ongoing.

We will also work on transitioning to the new association name of MDRAO, from CSAO. This will involve clearing legal requirements as well as logo, website and correspondence updates.

As an election year is upon us once again, we must not only promote new membership, but also new members into executive positions at both the chapter and provincial levels. Our association is an amazing platform to network, attain ongoing education and stay current with changing standards and best practices. 

I have continued to work at the chapter level with the executive group to plan meeting and educational opportunities within the ETA Chapter. I also attended the recent tri-chapter meeting in London with Trudell Medical, which was a big success. Looking forward to a great year ahead!
