THETA Report

Another year has come and gone. It has been an exciting year, but also a year with many challenges. Through these challenges we have arisen more knowledgeable, capable and professional. We take — or should take — these challenges to heart and strive to continue to provide our clients with the safest products available, to facilitate their fast and event-free recoveries. I am proud of our members and what they do on a daily basis in the service of our fellow man.

As we look forward to this New Year, and its changes and challenges, we strive to overcome our obstacles to complete our professional tasks and keep the momentum going from the previous, successful year.

President Barack Obama once said, "Change will not come if we wait for some other person, or if we wait for some other time. We are the ones we’ve been waiting for. We are the change that we seek."

Theta chapter boasts 121 members as of Nov. 30, 2015. This is great news and I encourage our members to keep up the good work.

We have two more OTN education sessions planned for the spring. The first one will be on February 10, with Colleen presenting on the New 2016 Accreditation standards in MDRD. The second one will be on April 6, with the subject to be announced at a later date. We also have our 7th Education day in North Bayat at the Best Western on April 22-23. The CSAO techniques course will be held May 4, 5, 6 and 7 via OTN, with various sites registered in the north.

On behalf of the CSAO and all of us on the Theta Chapter Executive, we would like to extend our sincerest hopes for a very happy and prosperous 2016!
