Theta Report

On behalf of the Theta Chapter Executive I would like to take this opportunity to welcome everyone to our general meeting and education session. For visitors and new members this is a great opportunity to see how our executives and association work and to avail your selves of our free education sessions.

Wow. Is it April already? It seems that we had just begun a new year and it is a third over already. The education day is fast approaching and the Theta course is just behind that. Elections will be held soon and I encourage all voting members to exercise their right and vote.

The name change is now official and we are Theta Chapter of the MDRAO (Medical Device Reprocessing Association of Ontario). There is a new logo and it is wonderful. I am really excited for this change and look forward to working within the recognition that this new brand will certainly bring to our association.

I am very pleased to report that Theta Chapter is boasting 164 members and we congratulate you on your hard work in recruiting these members and we ask that you please help us to, not only retain this membership, but help us to continue it to grow. Membership is why we exist and who we exist for.

Ahead is a session by Jodi Carol from Vantage on Flexible scope care and, as always, it was brought forward because of suggestions by Theta membership. You see we really do read our feed back and act on it. That is why we ask you to complete the evaluation forms at the end of each session.

I will close by stating that I hope to see you at the education day April 22, 23 2016 at the North Bay Best Western. We have a very exciting line up with good networking with each other, and with vendors, and an excellent opportunity to meet us, your executive. The facilities are excellent for an event like this and the food is amazing. To quote Charlie Farguharson "If you’ve never been you should come again". Really, it is that good!
