SIGMA Chapter President Message

On behalf of SIGMA Chapter, I would like to personally thank the past President, Dianne King, for her years of dedication and service to SIGMA Chapter. Dianne will be receiving a special award from our SIGMA Chapter.

There will be a new executive team working with me this term. I look forward to an exciting journey together with our members. An email introducing our SIGMA Chapter executive team will be circulated shortly.

On behalf of our SIGMA Chapter, I would like to welcome all the "new members"and "returning members" to our Chapter portfolio.

 

We are looking forward this year to the upcoming events planned and especially for our 2nd Annual SIGMA Chapter Healthcare Conference Day in London, Ontario. The event date will be on Saturday, February, 25, 2017. Stay tuned for more information to follow soon. We definitely look forward to all who will be attending, and once again would like to thank our Sponsors for their commitment to this educational conference.

We hosted our first ever OTN Event for the AGM meeting held on May 26, 2016, at 4:30 pm in London, Ontario - LHSC University Hospital Site. We received exceptional response to "New Members" joining MDRAO!

On Saturday, June 4, 2016, we had an opportunity to again tour London Hospital Linen Services facility. We personally would like to thank Brendon O'Neil for taking his time to provide an in-depth tour of the operation.

Our plans for this year is to involve more members and to host more diversified events within our Chapter. With the feedback received from our members, we know this will increase more interest in participation moving forward.

On a closing note,  I would personally would like to thank you all as we move forward in fulfilling our mandate of education and more engagement from our SIGMA Chapter region in Southwest Ontario Hospital area. I would also like to thank all our members for their commitment, participation and contribution to MDRAO!
