ETA Chapter Report

The ETA Chapter had their first meeting on September 16th.2016 at Keir Surgical/Mobile instrument Repair facilities in Oshawa, Ontario. The meeting was very well attended with close to 30 members.It was great to see some many faces from such a wide cross section of facilities in the GTA. The was a 50/50 raffle and certificates of attendance were handed out for the first time. 

Our Chapter membership now sits at 196 as compared to 131 members same time last year. For the month of September we have gotten 5 new Mangers and 16 new Technicians.We have registered 21 members from the ETA Chapter to attend the up coming CAMDR Conference on October 13th.2016.

Our next meeting is slated for December 3rd 2016 to be hosted by Johnson & Johnson (ASP) at the Markham location.There will be a comprehensive educational session on the STERRAD process and certificates will be handed out by Johnson & Johnson as well as from the ETA Chapter. Since we will not have the traditional Christmas dinner meeting, we will have lots of raffles for Christmas gifts.
