Lambda Chapter Report

Let me start off by saying, WOW! What a great conference! This was my first time ever at a MDRAO conference, and I couldn't believe what a variety of talented speakers and the number of vendors we had! It was so much fun to be a part of the 50th Anniversary. Special thanks to the Provincial Board for all of their very hard work! Great job everyone!

When Candia and I opened the account for LAMBDA in October 2018, we started with a balance of $12,511.25. In January 2019, we voted to send a MDRAO tote bag to all of our LAMBDA members at a cost of $531.17. We started booking flights for the conference in the summertime; so far we have spent $4,197.46 on flights and hotel for everyone who was able to come with us. The registration fees came to $1,356.00. Our balance as of September 18, 2019, is $6,994.05. We are still waiting for some receipts to come in from the conference.

Candia and I are looking forward to planning our own LAMBDA conference and will be planning some more meetings in the near future. If you have any suggestions for meetings or our Northern conference, please feel free to let us know, or volunteer to help. Don't forget we are also looking for an Educational Director!
