Sigma Chapter Report

Hello Sigma!

As we wrap up the fourth quarter of our year end, I am so honoured to pass over our chapter to Stacey Marshall. Stacey is a knowledgeable, inspiring woman who gives me no doubt in her ability to successfully lead and assist each and everyone of you. Not only is Stacey more than qualified for this position as your president, she also has an incredible newly elected team standing beside her. All positions within our chapter have been filled with new executive members.

I will still happily provide the Sigma membership with the resources and a development path with the experience I’ve gained over the past 4 years. As well I will also remain a Director on the MDRAO provincial board.

As I reflect on our past years I consider myself grateful for having the ability to reminisce on our impressive chapter meetings, education days and most recently how we sent 12 chapter members to our 2019 bi-annual MDRAO conference in Toronto, ON. All expenses paid! I would like to note that this success would not have been possible without the dedication of our current executive members. Given these challenging times navigating through the Covid-19 pandemic I hope that everyone is staying healthy both mentally and physically.
