The 2010 CSAO conference was a huge success. As we move into another year, I would like to thank the executive for their hard work and volunteer hours. I would also like to thank all chapter executives for their commitment to CSAO. Without everyone's hard work and dedication, CSAO would not be what it is today.
I would like to say a special thank you to Colleen Landers who has spent tireless hours on the Education portfolio, organizing our education course not only in Ontario, but also in other provinces including Manitoba, Alberta and most recently the distance program with Nova Scotia, Newfoundland and New Brunswick. I know Colleen is committed to reprocessing and we thank her for helping to bring CSAO's education program across Canada.
I would also like to say a special thank you to François Viau, who, as Director of Communications, organized the e-Newsletter.
I would like to express my sincere appreciation to Jean Richmond for the years she has spent on the Provincial Executive and the hours she has put into organizing the conference.
I wish Colleen, François and Jean all the best. We will miss them.
I would like to welcome Cindy Cole as the Vice President and the new Executive. This is a very exciting time and I know that as we move through the next few years, CSAO will continue to grow and develop into the biggest reprocessing association in Canada.
It is time to start planning for CSAO's 2011 conference, and we welcome your suggestions for content. In the busy field of medical device reprocessing with its endless issues, CSAO will continue to work with all of you to ensure that patients are protected and safe.
