A big thank you to all of the vendor companies who attended this year's Annual Conference. Everything ran smoothly and we appreciate your support for the CSAO and the attending delegates.

I would also like to thank those who participated and completed the Strategic Plan Survey. Your opinions matter to the success of the CSAO and we are looking forward to survey results in October.

The committees for the CSA Standards met three times over the summer. Our next sub-committee meeting is October 10^th; we will be reviewing Extended Cycles for the Z314.3 document.

Z314.8 – Decontamination of Reusable Medical Devices, is expected to be available for purchase November, 2013.

This November, Louis Konstant, director of communication, and I will be travelling to Turkey to represent CSAO at the 14^th Annual World Sterilization Congress. As members of the World Forum for Hospital Sterile Supply (WFHSS) we are looking forward to attending the meetings, networking with other world professionals and bringing back valuable information to our members.
