As Medical Device Reprocessing Technicians, we are constantly surrounded by changes in our industry and must embrace these changes in order to be successful.

For me, Medical Device Reprocessing continues to bring new discoveries and continued education.  I am honored to be stepping in as your interim Vice President and excited about all the hard work the MDRAO Executive is doing right now. The MDRD manual has been sent to print and we are working on getting the refresher and distance course on line.

I attended my first Technical Committee meeting for CSA as the MDRAO representative which has brought me to a new level of learning, and the new document is going to such a great addition to every MDR across Canada.

The Executive is putting together a great conference so please save the date for Sept 10th-12th, 2017 Measuring Success: Quality Assurance in MDR. It will be a very educational and fun conference. Save your best red and white attire as we plan to celebrate Canada’s 150th Birthday!
