MDRAO Updates - from Tammy Bennardo

Greetings Members,

Now that the time has changed, I hope that spring shall spring forward as this winter certainly has been a snowy one. I am looking forward to seeing green grass soon.

I would also like to let you know of some change that has occurred with our office.

Managing Matters is the new management team that is replacing the MDRAO office executive assistant Shelley McGee. As the MDRAO grows and moves forward, the board has decided to have a Toronto--based management company manage the administration for the organization. You may have received an email from Managing Matters; we are currently transferring all of the administrative duties to them.

The Medical Device Reprocessing Association of Ontario (MDRAO) has engaged Managing Matters as our new association management company partner. As we face opportunities to provide more benefits and services for our membership, we are pleased to be working with a professional firm with a strong record and the expertise to help us get to the next level. Our valuable offerings, including the education programs, webinars, online resources, and website, will benefit from this partnership.

The Executive board has been working hard finishing the constitutional changes for the Annual General Meeting, planning the details for 50th Anniversary Conference and updates for the online course and refresher. Please save the dates for our May 10th AGM, and September 6, 7th and 8th for our 50th Anniversary Conference. Registration for education and membership opens June 1st. As always, check the MDRAO website for updates, registration forms, agendas and details: www.mdrao.ca.

The MDRAO executive board with Managing Matters is committed to bringing Canadian Medical Device Reprocessing information, education and educational materials to our valued members.

Our Managing Matters team can be reached through our Director of Operations, Sarah McIntosh,
at 1-647 847 1339, and you can always email at info@mdrao.ca.

As this is new for all of us, please be patient as we transition. Please know that your requests or questions are very important to us and, together with Managing Matters, we will update all members and answer questions as we move forward.

Kind regards,

Tammy Bennardo
