Currently our process for hand-washed items is that once they are placed in the window one of my staff members wipes the item down with alcohol and then will blow it out (if necessary) place it in the dryer or prepare for sterilization.. In September, I was honoured to chair our first executive meeting for this current term. During this meeting we solidified our four chapter meeting dates for this fiscal year. We discussed our financial status along with the CAMDR Conference held in Toronto from October 13-16, along with a possible education day.

The ETA Chapter had its first meeting on September 16th, 2016, at Keir Surgical/Mobile instrument Repair facilities in Oshawa, Ontario. The meeting was very well attended, with close to 30 members. It was great to see so many faces from such a wide cross-section of facilities in the GTA. The was a 50/50 raffle, and certificates of attendance were handed out for the first time.
