Steve Schmidt Keynote Speaker at Food Processing Expo 2018

Public Affairs and Political Strategist Steve Schmidt will be the keynote speaker at CLFP’s Food Processing Expo 2018 on February 21 in Sacramento. Schmidt is currently vice chairman of public affairs at Edelman and has been described by the national media as a "damage control master." Earlier in his career, Schmidt served as a top strategist to President George W. Bush's 2004 re-election campaign. Following the President’s successful re-election, Schmidt joined the Bush administration as deputy assistant to the President and counselor to the Vice President. The Food Processing Expo is an annual event produced by CLFP and will be held February 21-22 at the Sacramento Convention Center. It is the largest trade show of its kind in California and features more than 270 exhibitors and 2,500 attendees. Exhibitor registration is now open and attendee registration will open September 29.
