CLFP Fall Board of Directors Meeting Set for October 25 in Stockton

Registration is open for CLFP’s Fall Board of Directors Meeting to be held Thursday, October 25, at the Hilton in Stockton. The meeting will feature a new one-day format and also will be held for the first time the day before CLFP’s Annual Supplier Host Council Golf Tournament. The meeting is open to all CLFP board of directors members.
One of the guest speakers at the meeting will be Rebecca Smith of Downey Brand LLP, a CLFP affiliate member, who will discuss the Impact of the Sustainable Groundwater Management Act on food processors and growers. The meeting will also include a roundtable discussion on Proposition 65 and legislative/government affairs reports.
For the first time board members can register for the meeting via CLFP’s new member portal system.
Meeting attendees can make hotel reservations directly with the Hilton at (800) HILTONS. Reference the California League of Food Producers and make reservations by Monday, October 8, to receive the meeting room rate.
Board members are encouraged to participate in the CLFP Golf Tournament the day following the meeting.
CLFP holds three board of directors meetings each year. In addition to the fall meeting, the Annual Board Meeting is held in April and one is held in conjunction with the Food Processing Expo in February.
