CLFP will hold its 2020 Annual Board of Directors Meeting April 30 – May 1 at the Andaz Hotel in Napa, CA.
During the meeting outgoing chair Ross Siragusa, The Kraft Heinz Company, will be honored and incoming chair Michael Mariani, Mariani Packing Company, Inc., will be welcomed.
Several guest speakers will discuss industry issues, including Bob Schramm with Schramm, Williams and Associates, Inc., a Washington, D.C., lobbying firm with multiple food and agricultural clients. Also speaking at the meeting is Marty Wilson with the California Chamber of Commerce and Bob Therkelsen with Raven Consulting, a company that specializes in working with individuals, teams, and nonprofit organizations in the areas of navigating change and leadership development.
Members will also hear legislative and regulatory updates from CLFP’s Government Affairs Directors Trudi Hughes and John Larrea. In January, the California Legislature reconvened the second of a two-year session, and there are many bills being considered that could impact the state’s food processing industry.
The meeting is open to CLFP board of director members and premier affiliate members. For more information, contact Olivia Johnson.
CLFP staff is closely monitoring the evolving Coronavirus situation and is reaching out to its members to determine if the annual meeting should be held at the planned location or if a conference call should be held in its place.
