CLFP Part of Regulatory Deadline Extension Request During COVID-19 Crisis

CLFP has joined with other industry organizations to ask California Governor Gavin Newsom to direct all state agencies to postpone near-term rulemaking and related deadlines. Such a postponement would allow a reasonable period of time for meaningful public participation in decision making processes. Newsom is also being asked to direct state agencies to be judicious in exercising enforcement authority, while businesses make unprecedented changes to their operations to help reduce the spread of the coronavirus.
