CLFP continues to actively assess the evolving COVID-19 situation and how it is affecting the state’s food processing industry. CLFP is in regular contact with a wide variety of government agencies, industry and association coalitions and others and is holding weekly COVID-19 Issues Forums, providing members with current information and the opportunity to discuss COVID-19 issues affecting their operations.
The forums are being held with CLFP processor members to share information about state and federal responses and rules related to the coronavirus, best practices in the industry and to provide an open forum to discuss issues and challenges the situation has created in the plant and for general business practices.
CLFP has posted several links on its website provided by the California Department of Public Health Food and Drug Branch that provide resources to assist the food industry during COVID-19 and responding to COVID-19 in the workplace.
