CLFP/AFVGPC Virtual Washington, D.C. Fly-In a Success

The American Fruit and Vegetable Coalition and CLFP participated in a 2022 D.C. Virtual Fly-In this month via a series of Zoom meetings. Representatives from the organizations met with Congressional members from around the country, as well as legislative leadership and regulatory staff. Issues covered included but were not limited to steel tariff/trade, all-forms commodity purchases by USDA and immigration reform.
The meetings provided CLFP members an opportunity to voice their thoughts and concerns on issues pertinent to their company's operations and California's food processing industry.
