CLFP NEWS: Fall Board Meeting

Trudi Hughes, the new President & CEO, presented the Board with her new vision for CLFP which is focused on opportunities to better serve CLFP’s membership by expanding its government affairs and advocacy programs as well as industry education and networking opportunities.
Dr. Dan Sumner with the Department of Agricultural and Resources Economics at the University of California, Davis was a guest speaker and discussed California’s agricultural economic future.
Financial reports were reviewed and CLFP government affairs reports on legislative and regulatory issues were presented.
The next board of directors meeting will be held February 14th during Food Processing Expo 2023.
