Samson Advisors will assist CLFP lobby at the State Capitol and regulatory agencies on issues impacting the food processing industry.  Anthony Samson and his team have a well-earned reputation for delivering successful results for corporations, nonprofit organizations and trade associations on California's most high-profile and complex policy proposals.  The firm has earned this reputation by taking a shoe-leather approach to lobbying.  This approach includes leveraging deep connections with lawmakers and key staff and harnessing our keen understanding of California's intricate laws, multilayered political landscape, and highly technical procedural requirements.   

Fisher Phillips will be working with CLFP on lobbying issues specifically related to labor.  Benjamin M. Ebbink is a partner in the Sacramento office. With two decades of experience in labor and employment law and in assisting the development of California labor law and regulations, he focuses on legislation introduced at the state and local levels. Benjamin assists employers with navigating evolving legislative and regulatory landscapes in a variety of areas including employment classification, workplace discrimination, employee privacy, wage and hour, employee compensation, trade secrets, employment contracts and terms, healthcare, immigration, employee leave, workers’ compensation, and workplace safety.

Ellison Schneider Harris & Donlan LLP will be working with CLFP on energy and climate change issues.
