CARB to Hold Regional Meetings on Draft Proposed Cap-and-Trade Adaptive Management

The California Air Resources Board (CARB) is holding meetings to provide an update on the
status of the development of the Cap-and-Trade Adaptive Management
Process. The meetings are open to the public. Adaptive management is a
process of information gathering, review, and analysis and response used
by CARB that is designed to promote flexible public agency
decision-making. CARB committed to use the adaptive management approach
as an integral part of implementing the Cap-and-Trade program in order
to address unanticipated adverse air quality impacts that could result
from the program. Staff intends to present a final proposed Adaptive
Management Process to the board in spring/early summer 2016. Additional

Sacramento: November 5, 2015
Los Angeles: November 9, 2015
Fresno: November 10, 2015
El Cerrito: November 16, 2015
