CLFP Supplier Host Council Golf Tournament Helps Raise Scholarship Funds

More than 140 CLFP members enjoyed a day of golf and scholarship fund raising at the 19th annual CLFP Supplier Host Council Golf Tournament at the Stockton Golf & Country Club in Stockton, Calif., on Oct. 19. The tournament is hosted each year by CLFP’s supplier host and premiere affiliate members and helps support CLFP’s scholarship program, which recently awarded $32,500 in scholarships for 2015-16. This year’s golf tournament was the first to be sold out in recent years. Prizes were awarded in multiple categories, including the perennially popular tomato putting content, which requires making a hole in one with a cherry tomato. The golf tournament proceeds benefit the Supplier Host Council reception and silent auction held at the CLFP-sponsored Food Expo held in Sacramento each February.
