CLFP
is the voice of the food processing industry in the Capitol and keeps members
informed on key regulatory issues. It is
clear that 2015 will be a very challenging year with important water, energy, recycling,
and food labeling issues being debated in the Capitol. California is a complex and costly place to
conduct business and some companies try to navigate through these problems by
themselves. But there is strength in
numbers through CLFP, and every food company in the state would benefit from
membership.
CLFP
would like to expand its political reach by adding members who share the goal
of promoting a more business-friendly political climate in California. If you have colleagues or competitors who
work for food processing companies or affiliated industries that are not CLFP
members, please encourage them to meet with staff to learn how CLFP can add
value to their organization, and how they can contribute to enhancing the
welfare of the industry.
