2015 CLFP Spring Energy & Environmental Committee Recap
Speakers addressed a variety of pertinent topics including Brian Biering of Ellison, Schneider & Harris providing an update on the Cap-and-Trade utility allowance allocation proceedings for EITE facilities and CLFP’s Rob Neenan addressing proposed regulations by CalRecyle for compostable materials. Maurice Roos (pictured here) from the California Department of Water Resources, who has more than 50 years of California water industry experience, provided a comprehensive California water supply forecast. CLFP members also learned about the Water Education Foundation from its Executive Director Jennifer Bowles; and Janet Whittick and Bill Quinn from the California Council for Environmental and Economic Balance discussed Toxic Hot Spots: Updated Health Risk Assessment Guidelines.
