CLFP Capitol Day Registration Deadline is June 12

June 12 is the deadline to register for CLFP’s Ninth Annual Capitol Day, to be held June 20 in Sacramento. This annual event provides an excellent opportunity for CLFP member company representatives to meet with legislators, regulators and representatives of Governor Jerry Brown to discuss issues affecting the food processing industry.

"It’s an opportunity to remind legislators and policy makers that we have a lot of other people behind us," said Trudi Hughes, CLFP Legislative Affairs. "And it's an opportunity for CLFP members to inform legislators about issues key to their companies."

The California Legislature is currently reviewing a number of critical bills that could impact the food processing industry, including those involving labor, water conservation and climate change.
