CLFP held its Fall Board of Directors meeting at the Wine & Roses Hotel in Lodi on October 19. The location was changed from Napa to Lodi due to the extreme wildfires that occurred in that area in mid-October and consolidated into a one-day meeting.
Bill Bryant from Bryant Christie Inc. was the guest speaker and discussed the current international trade climate in Washington D.C. Bryant has served under both Republican and Democratic administrations as adviser to the United States Trade Representative, U.S. Department of Agriculture and the Ex-Im Bank.
The board also received updates on CLFP’s recent work on a variety of legislative and regulatory issues affecting the food processing industry in California.
The next CLFP board of directors meeting will be held on February 20 in conjunction with Food Processing Expo 2018.
