CLFP members receive a substantial discount on exhibit space at Food Processing Expo 2020, the largest food processing trade show in California. The Expo will be held in Santa Clara, February 12-13. A standard 10’ x 10’ booth space is $1,900 for a CLFP affiliate member, compared to $2,300 for a non-member.
The Food Processing Expo offers a unique opportunity for exhibitors to reach multiple members of the state's expansive food processing industry. Many of these processors are large multinational companies with locations throughout the U.S. With exhibitor costs considerably lower than other industry shows, the Expo allows you to maintain relationships with existing customers, while making new contacts and sales. Exhibitors report making multiple sales on the show floor by actively engaging Expo attendees. Exhibitors are also offered an exclusive networking opportunity with CLFP member food processing companies the night before the show opens. Click here for more information about exhibiting.
New Sanitation Workshop
A new pre-Expo workshop has been added to the Expo offerings – a "Food Processing Sanitation Workshop," which is being produced and conducted by the Safe Food Alliance. Early bird, group and CLFP member discounts are being given for this workshop. Another pre-Expo workshop will focus on "Starting a Specialty Food Business," Both workshops will be held on February 11, and registration for the workshops includes entrance into the Expo.
Phil Kafarakis, president of the Specialty Food Association, will be the Expo Kickoff Breakfast Speaker, and Dr. Ken Goldberg, UC Robotics and Artificial Intelligence Lab, will be the Keynote Speaker on February 13. Multiple educational sessions will be held throughout the two-day Expo, offering something for everyone, from small to large food producers. In addition, a new Food Processing Technology Showcase will be held on the show floor.
